"Simplicity" is an even more timely message than when it was originally printed in the late 1800s. As cluttered and busy as the Victorians were, we are far more so today.
On the front it says in French, "What Mary wants from me is ... Simplicity. To be simple is to have only one object: God alone."
On the back we have that translation and theses two things:
Let Go and let God. Love him with child's heart and trust in his love for you.
Lord, let us be mindful of you and simply love you and trust you at all times.
This beautiful card was made by one of our favorite vintage holy card companies, Bouasse-Jeune, who worked from about 1857 to 1920.
